There was a recent "unveiling" of a new Donor Wall which is now displayed in the main lobby of Citrus Memorial Hospital. The Donor Wall allows CMHS the chance to acknowledge those who wish to be recognized for their donations to the Hospital's Capital Campaign which will provide expanded services and create new facilities such as the planned Family Care Health & Education Center in Lecanto to meet the increased health demands for our growing community.
One section of the Donor Wall shows photos and a brief history of the growth and progress made by the hospital over the years, starting with the original hospital building in 1957 to the construction of the Heart Center in 2004.
This custom-designed wall was entirely paid for by an Anonymous donor. Although wishing no recognition, this anonymous donor is of the belief that such a lovely wall of recognition will help to stimulate additional donations to Citrus Memorial to help fund the Hospital's capital campaign including the planned Family Care Health & Education Center at the Allen Ridge Medical Mall in Lecanto.
