One of our most exciting outreaches ever launched by Citrus Memorial Hospital will be the construction of the Family Care Health and Education Center. It will provide new health care horizons from pediatrics to geriatrics. The new Center will be built at the Allen Ridge Medical Park on CR 491 in Lecanto. As its name implies, it will focus on health care education and family medical services.
Hospital Board members, doctors, nurses and staff donated nearly $500,000.00 to help fund the project. And now, Citrus Memorial has turned to the community for financial support.
"There's simply no question that this resource will improve our community's health for generations to come," said Dr. Tom Stringer, a Citrus Memorial physician. "That's why my colleagues and I have made our investment and why we encourage all of our neighbors to do the same."
